The International Cultural-Educational Association (ICEA) in partnership with the Association of Ukrainian Cities (AUC) has invited a group of Ukrainian mayors, municipal workers, architects and business owners to participate in a program to be conducted in San Francisco and will continue in Los Angeles California and Las Vegas, Nevada during April 08 – 15, 2012. 


The objectives of this program are to introduce the delegation to: 


- American municipal system,


- the Mayors' Institute оf City Design,


- the Sister Cities International program, 


- the American cultural and historical heritage in relation to tourism. 


The following activities are planned for the program:

 
- visit the San Francisco Mayor's office, Business Economical and Public works Departments,


- meet with managers of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce,


- meet with the representatives of American Institute Architects, San Francisco Chapter,

-meet with local Ukrainian organizations.

Participants will learn about the innovations in American municipal system, development of local small businesses, and urban planning in American suburbs and large cities.
