The International Cultural-Educational Association (ICEA) hosted a group of Ukrainian builders who participated in a program conducted in January 16-27, 2010.
A group of Russian Jazz Musicians performed in California this November as part of participating in the Open World Cultural Leadership program. Selected musicians from different parts of Russia came together into the Stockton Valley to perform, learn and exchange music with fellow students and accomplished musicians. University of Pacific and Brubeck Institute hosted the group.
This September ICEA representatives visited Ukraine. During this visit they met with government and non-profit organizations, foundations and developing businesses.
Larisa Koval, ICEA president and founder, just had a meeting with John M. O'Keefe, executive director of Open World Leadership Center at the Library of Congress.
This July ICEA hosted a student summer program in three US cities: New York, Boston and Orlando. The objective of this program was learning more about history and culture of United States as well as improving and polishing English language skills.
Oksana Koval, Project Watchdogs director and ICEA's Media director, went to Harvard and wrote an article about it.
ICEA hosted their annual meeting in New Hampshire July 7, 2009. They reviewed previous projects, discussed future programs, enjoyed the rocky shore of the Atlantic Ocean, ate lobsters and otherwise, had a great time.
July 1st is a national Day of the Architect in Ukraine. ICEA staff sends their best wishes and hopes to continue working with Ukrainian architects. The previous programs between USA and Ukraine have been a great success and ICEA is looking forward to future collaboration.
